Wednesday, March 9, 2016  ::   Three Chicago men have been charged in connection with a home invasion Monday night at an apartment on Lake Street after Oak Park Police responding to a 911 call arrived to find two of the suspects still in the building and the third nearby.
Monday, February 29, 2016  ::   The new Lake & Forest parking garage officially opened for business Monday as officials cut a ribbon and raised the gates for the first time. Hourly rates will be the same as in other Village parking garages.
Thursday, February 25, 2016  ::   Oak Park Police are launching a new initiative to enhance and strengthen the popular Resident Beat Officer (RBO) program by expanding the pool of potential candidates beyond officers who live in the Village.
Thursday, February 25, 2016  ::   Letters were sent to more than 650 current and former employees of several Oak Park taxing bodies notifying them that personal information was taken by a former Village employee who has since been terminated. While no intent to misuse the information has been established, officials say they are erring on the side of caution by informing those affected.
