Most property owners are billed quarterly. The bill also includes refuse and recycling collection charges. Rates can change, typically on January 1 of a new year.
Customers are urged to read their water bills carefully to verify the accuracy of charges. If charges for water, sewer, refuse or recycling collection services provided by the Village have been calculated incorrectly, charges will be assessed or refunded for the erroneously billed period up to 24 months.
The property owner is responsible for ensuring all plumbing lines and fixtures connected to the water meter are in good working condition. An unusually high bill may indicated a water leak.
