Nov. 20, 2015 - With the possibility of heavy snowfall in the forecast, the Village is urging residents to park tonight in accordance with the snow emergency parking rules that allow plows to work effectively and emergency vehicles to travel unimpeded.
If two or more inches of snow fall, parking is prohibited on major streets designated as snow routes and restricted from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on residential streets to the side of the street determined by the odd or even numbered address.
Since Saturday will be an odd-numbered day (Nov. 21), parking will be restricted to the odd-address side (west and south sides). Residents are urged to park tonight in anticipation of the restrictions being implemented.
