Trees cool the air – around 10 degrees cooler! They also fight climate change, which is making our summers hotter.
Here are some tips from the non-profit Climate Ready Community Outreach to Oak Park (COOP) for caring for trees in warm weather:
Water widely from the trunk to the edge of the dripline (under the tips of the branches).
