Single-family homeowners who need help paying for work to correct health and safety issues and building code violations may be eligible for no-interest loans of up to $25,000. No monthly payments are required. Loans are repayable after 20 years or when the property is transferred.
The federally funded, income-based rehabilitation home loans are designed to ensure public safety and improve the Village’s housing stock by bringing structures into compliance with key housing and building codes.
