Anyone considering opening a business, designing an addition, finishing a residential basement, building a new garage or remodeling a home kitchen or bath is encouraged to schedule a preliminary construction meeting before finalizing the plans. Village staff will explain what is needed for the permit process and can direct you to resources that can provide additional guidance if needed. To schedule a personal appointment, call 708.358.5434 or email permits@oak-park.us.
