The outdoor sculpture walk introduced last summer returns this month, featuring new sculptures at 12 high-profile locations in and around downtown Oak Park through Sept. 2.
Residents and visitors are invited to take a self-guided walking tour, with the majority of the art right along Lake Street.
More information and brochures providing details on each piece and its artist are available in the Visitors Center, 1010 Lake St., as well as online at www.oak-park.us/sculpturewalk.
The sculpture walk was organized by the Public Art Advisory Commission, citizen volunteers who promote the acquisition and placement of public art that reflects diversity and artistic expression, and enhances the esthetic environment of the Village.
